Participants will be exposed to a variety of approaches to problem/project-based learning in science. During the workshop, participants will be encouraged to identify a problem/project based approach to a unit or lesson in their current curriculum and brainstorm ideas for bringing the problem into the classroom. Ideas for structuring, executing and assessing the unit or lesson will be presented. The exemplars for the session will be STEM-based, but instructors from other disciplines are welcome to attend.
